FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the collar used for?

The MPS DOG 2.0 is used to find or track your dog, as well as any other object or animal. The emitter is found thanks to the MPS receiver via the MPS application. The data collected by the application comes either from the SIGFOX application or from the MPS receiver connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone or tablet.

In what situations can it be used?

The MPS DOG 2.0 can be used when walking with your faithful friend, with hunting dogs on a hunt or when your dog is searching for animals, regardless of the distance between you and your dog.

What is the difference between MPS and other collars?

The MPS DOG 2.0 stands out from the competition thanks to its dual transmission, directly via the MPS receiver and via the SIGFOX network, installed throughout Europe. Furthermore, it is much smaller and lighter than products already on the market.

How does the collar work?

The MPS DOG 2.0 calculates its position via its GPS receiver. It then sends the signal for its position every 8 seconds directly to your receiver and every 10 minutes to the SIGFOX cloud. This allows you to accurately locate your dog in real-time.

How do I start using the MPS DOG 2.0?

The ease of use is the system’s strong point. All you need to do is activate the emitter by moving a magnet over the ON/OFF point. The emitter will start to emit its position once it has been acquired via the GPS receiver.
